Shaping Corporate Value through Public Relations: Insights from 'PR-style Management'

A new book titled 'PR-style Management: Creating Corporate Value through Public Relations' is set to be published on January 8, 2026, by Dentsu PR Consulting, under the leadership of President Yasumasa Yamaguchi. This book is a collaborative effort from the Corporate Public Relations Strategy Institute (Dentsu PR Consulting) and highlights the growing importance of public relations (PR) in shaping corporate value.

The publication is backed by comprehensive research and analysis from nearly 1,000 listed companies in Japan, offering practical insights into how managing stakeholder expectations and concerns can effectively enhance future corporate value. The authors delve into a new perspective of public relations, framed around the three i's: Intelligence (listening), Information (PR), and Impact (benefit).

Moreover, in light of the increasing number of individual investors, the book emphasizes non-financial information as a leading indicator of corporate future value. Under the supervision of Professor Takaaki Yata from Keio University, the Corporate Public Relations Strategy Institute has developed the Non-Financial Cross-Value Model, which highlights how companies and individuals have responded to and utilized this information.

The richness of the content is further enhanced by interviews with CxOs (Chief Officers) and included successful case studies, all aimed at illuminating the essence of contemporary PR practices that businesses require moving forward.
