KOKO HOTELS Unveils New Services Reflecting Brand Concept from October 1

KOKO HOTELS Launches Innovative Services

On October 1, the newly launched KOKO HOTELS, a brand under Polaris Holdings, is set to introduce a series of fresh services that embody its brand concept: "Here Discovery Begins - A Journey of Finding Starts Here." This roll-out follows the brand integration announcement made on July 15, 2025, and seeks to create meaningful connections with guests by enhancing their experience during their stay.

Distinctive Brand Visuals Reflecting Individual Perspectives

The kick-off of these services is backed by the brand's striking key visuals, created by accomplished designer and artist Asuka Watanabe. The visuals aim to resonate with guests uniquely, allowing for individual interpretation and a personal connection to KOKO's essence.

Watanabe’s work intricately weaves together elements like architectural lines, street signs, and the bustling rhythm of people in the city, forming a geometric composition that evolves into a dynamic expression based on the observer's perspective. This artistic endeavor illustrates KOKO HOTELS' commitment to providing a free and creative atmosphere during guests' stays.

Strengthening the Brand Concept

KOKO HOTELS aims to go beyond being merely a lodging choice; it aspires to become a hub for showcasing local attractions and culture. The brand serves as the starting point for guests to embark on journeys of self-discovery through interactions with the environment, cuisine, and local communities.

New Services from October 1

The new offerings, designed to manifest the brand's vision, include:

1. Aromatic Dashi Experience - Each location will offer an original dashi pack, allowing guests to enjoy a locally-inspired first cup of broth, infusing their stay with Japanese culinary essence.
2. Signature Aroma Experience - A unique aroma welcomed guests, instilling a sense of familiarity and security, enhancing their travel memories with soothing, recognizable scents.
3. Convenient Eco-Bag Rental Service - Available for guests upon check-in, this service adds a personal touch to their shopping experiences.
4. Tripla Guide - A user-friendly app that provides essential information through smartphones, improving guest convenience and connectivity during their stay.
5. Warm Welcomes at KOKO HOTELS - Staff is committed to greeting guests, reinforcing personal service in an increasingly automated industry.

For the Love of Gastronomy

The centerpiece of KOKO HOTELS’ new experience is the original dashi pack, crafted to highlight distinct regional flavors across five varieties tailored to each locale from Hokkaido to Kyushu. Each pack offers guests the opportunity to savor the complex umami of Japanese cuisine while enveloped in the comforting aroma of freshly made dashi.

A Continued Commitment to Service

In an era where differentiating hotel services can be challenging, KOKO HOTELS emphasizes meaningful experiences through genuine interactions with staff and uniquely regional offerings.

Yohei Taguchi, the company’s president, expressed his vision stating, “We strive to ensure our guests have at least one 'interesting' experience. We want them to regard their stay at KOKO HOTELS as memorable, so they think of KOKO when planning their next journey.” This philosophy is directed at ensuring safety and comfort while also sparking encounters with new discoveries and local culture.
