On December 4, Smilegate MegaPort announced a thrilling update for its popular RPG, Chaos Zero Nightmare (or KaZero), developed by SUPER CREATIVE. The update brings the eagerly awaited Chapter 2 of the story-driven content, known as the 'Galactic Catastrophe,' featuring the new ★5 combatant, Chizuru. This chapter of the storyline unfolds as protagonists engage in a pursuit to reclaim the stolen 'Primodium' from Kaguya Pharmaceuticals, along with Yuki’s tracking battle.

New Game Features and Content

The update introduces a range of exciting new features:

- A competitive new ranking system called 'Great Rift,' where players can compete based on the total damage inflicted on bosses. Players can earn various in-game rewards and exclusive decorative items based on their rankings and top scores.
- The 'Omega Code' is also introduced as a material for the Ego manifestation (limit breakthrough) of all combatants, expanding the options for character development.

In this chapter, key characters Chizuru and Itsuku have been enhanced to ★5 combatants and partners, respectively. Chizuru, classified as a ★5 Void-type psionic, utilizes the unique debuff skill 'Jujutsu' to dominate battles. Particularly, players can reduce card usage costs when using the 'Twilight Cohesion' card, making gameplay smoother and less burdensome.

Various Improvements and New Systems

In addition to new content, several system enhancements have been implemented:

- An innovative messaging system called 'Unigram' allows players to deepen their bonds with their combatants. Engaging with this system can lead to special events based on the trust level established between the players and their characters.
- Furthermore, combatants now have 'preferred gifts' to enhance personalized interactions, ensuring a tailored experience for each player.

Additionally, a permanent shop known as the 'Black Horn Trading Post' has been introduced, where players can purchase various helpful items using 'Chaos Crystals' obtained from playing Chaos Manifestation, Codex, and Galactic Catastrophe content. Coinciding with this update, the in-game units used for leveling up combatants and partners have been reduced by approximately 80%, easing the development burden on players. Users are also given reimbursement for previously spent units.

To celebrate the update, a new login event spanning 21 days has been launched. Players can collect 'Rescue Anchors' and 'Signal Amplifier Anchors,' alongside various growth materials and Prism Lenses, based on their total login days.
