GAC Launches Brazil Brand, Marking a Key Step in Latin American Strategy

GAC's Ecosystem Globalization Lands in Brazil

On May 23, 2025, GAC made a significant leap in its Latin American strategy by launching its brand in Brazil during a special event held in the Anhembi District of São Paulo. This momentous occasion marked the official introduction of GAC's "Brazil Action Plan," a pivotal component of its global strategy "One GAC 2.0." By focusing on long-term investments and community contributions, GAC aims to present Brazilian consumers with a vision of future mobility and to signify the start of a transformative chapter for the company in this vibrant market.

The launch event attracted a wide array of attendees, including government officials from Brazil and China, prominent business leaders, and other representatives, all witnessing the remarkable collaboration between the two nations in the automotive sector. During the ceremony, GAC formalized a strategic cooperation agreement with the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (Inmetro), aimed at enhancing Brazil's automotive industry's competitiveness.

The "Brazil Action Plan" is structured around four main pillars: a comprehensive deployment of the supply chain, energy ecosystem development, talent cultivation, and cultural integration. GAC is committed to actively engaging with the local supply chain scene, building a national energy supply network, and developing a talent system through partnerships with universities. Furthermore, GAC adheres to an ESG philosophy, fostering local community engagement and striving to be an exemplary corporate citizen in Brazil.

The implementation of the "Brazil Action Plan" will accelerate GAC's integration into the local economy, emphasizing its services and contributions to the community. In terms of product offerings, GAC is committed to maintaining its hallmark strengths in "Top-notch Quality" and "Pioneering Technology." The company plans to continuously introduce models powered by diverse energy sources, fully catering to the varied mobility needs of Brazilian consumers. GAC’s service systems also prioritize customer satisfaction, following the principle that "Service Comes First" and "The Customer is Paramount." This philosophy will expedite the application of the GAC Sales Service Way (GSSW), ensuring reliable customer service.

At the product launch event, five new models were presented to the Brazilian public, namely the AION V, AION Y, HYPTEC HT, GS4 HEV, and AION ES. These vehicles are designed to meet a wide array of mobility scenarios, including family transportation, urban commuting, and shared mobility. Through these introductions, GAC exemplifies its core strengths of "Top-notch Quality" and "Pioneering Technology," reflecting a deep understanding of the Brazilian market.

With these strategic moves, GAC is set not only to pave its path in Brazil but also to leave an indelible mark on the broader Latin American automotive landscape, interweaving its operations within the fabric of Brazilian society for sustained growth and innovation.
