Jeep® Brand Expands Iconic Badge of Honor Program with New Trail Challenges

Jeep® Brand Enhances Badge of Honor Program

In recognition of International Off-Road Day, the Jeep® brand has unveiled exciting updates to its exclusive Badge of Honor program, designed for off-road enthusiasts who own Jeep 4x4 vehicles. The program now features a host of new trail-based challenges, a significant expansion of available trails, and enhanced app functionality, encouraging Jeep owners to venture further and earn meaningful recognition for their off-road contributions.

Expanded Trail Challenges

The Badge of Honor program has introduced six fresh challenges to fuel the adventurous spirit of Jeep owners, wherein they can explore and complete a specific selection of trails or activities. Each completed challenge rewards users with in-app badges and points, encouraging them to showcase their achievements on social media. Some of the newest trail challenges include:

  • - Month Streaker – Successfully complete at least one trail per month over six consecutive months.
  • - Marathoner – Tackle 26 unique trails.
  • - Trail Titan – Conquer every Core Jeep Badge of Honor Trail.
  • - Explorer Extraordinaire – Finish ten unique trails.
  • - Digital Detour – Complete any three Digital Trails.
  • - Moab Marvel – Traverse all Badge of Honor trails in Moab, Utah.

These challenges are crafted to motivate Jeep enthusiasts across diverse experience levels, whether they are seasoned off-roaders or newcomers.

New Core Trails Introduced

To broaden the experience and accessibility of the program, four new Core Trails are now available across states that previously lacked representation, allowing even more Jeep owners to earn physical badges:

1. GOAT Trail - Cross Bar Ranch Off Road Park, Oklahoma
2. Lost Trail - Murphy, Idaho
3. Amatista Ledges - Doña Ana, New Mexico
4. Trail 8049 - Black Hills National Forest, South Dakota
5. Trail #421 - Stony Lonesome OHV Park, Alabama
6. The Fallen - Hurricane, Utah

These additions enable Jeep owners to explore new terrains while celebrating their off-road accomplishments.

Digital Trails for Adventure Seekers

New Digital Trails cater to both novices and expert off-roaders looking for unique experiences without the need to travel to physical locations. Upon completing these digital trails, users can earn in-app badges and points, elevating their engagement within the off-roading community. Recently added trails include:
  • - Trail #29 - Cabwaylingo State Forest, West Virginia
  • - Steel Pass - Death Valley National Park, California
  • - Humps and Bumps - Walker Valley Forest, Washington
  • - Little Widowmaker - Hollerwood Offroad Park, Kentucky

Enhanced App Features

The Jeep Badge of Honor app has undergone a significant redesign, incorporating a more user-friendly interface with an updated interactive trail map. The map now includes various colored pinpoints and icons for different trails and activities, allowing users to filter completed trails and access detailed information, including trail images, difficulty levels, ratings, and distances from their current location. Moreover, Jeep Adventure Guides, integrated into the Uconnect 5 Navigation system, assist drivers in navigating the Core Trails and make off-roading experiences even more enjoyable.

For nearly 85 years, the Jeep brand has been synonymous with legendary off-road capability, innovative technology, and an adventurous spirit. With the ongoing expansion of the Badge of Honor program, Jeep continues to highlight the community aspect of off-roading and encourages its customers to venture into uncharted territories, fostering a culture of exploration and camaraderie among Jeep owners. The enhancements not only provide new challenges and experiences but also foster a sense of pride and connection within the Jeep community, demonstrating the brand's commitment to celebrating the off-road lifestyle.
