We are excited to announce the upcoming Results Presentation for the research project titled "Research on Diverse Learning for Children Outside of School," focusing on enhancing each child’s unique characteristics and interests. Conducted by various university laboratories in collaboration with free schools, this initiative aims to support children in non-traditional learning environments.

The presentation will take place on May 17, 2025 (Saturday) from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Join us at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, Citizens’ Hall located at 2-8-1 Nishishinjuku, Shinjuku City, Tokyo.

1. Results Reports from Laboratories
Reports will be presented by universities involved in the project, including:
- Kodomo Education Hosen University
- Teikyo Heisei University
- Tokyo Gakugei University
- Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts
- Meisei University

2. Expert Commentary
Distinguished commentators will include:
- Masaya Iwanaga, President of the Open University of Japan
- Tomotaka Segawa, Director of the certified NPO Katari Badi

The administration of this results presentation is entrusted to Adecco Co., Ltd.
This research initiative aims to empower free schools’ operational staff to utilize research findings effectively to support children's educational needs. Each participating university laboratory will explore various learning themes, focusing on drawing out individual children's interests within the cooperating free schools.

This initiative supports the 2050 Tokyo Strategy, emphasizing child-centric policies under its Strategy 1: "Children."
