Celebrating Relocation: The 2nd Japan Immigrant Award
From September 1st, the entry for the
Second Japan Immigrant Award will open, organized by Sankei Shimbun and other partners. This award aims to recognize individuals who have moved to new locations and successfully created their ideal lifestyles, particularly in the face of Japan's aging population and declining birth rates leading to a shortage of local workers.
This contest not only highlights the stories of those who relocated but also acknowledges their contributions to their new communities. As Japan seeks fresh perspectives and solutions, the inspiring journeys of these immigrants will be shared widely through various media channels. The final selection event is scheduled for December 9th at Pony Canyon Headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo.
