Godiva Japan Co., based in Minato, Tokyo, is set to introduce the delightful Spanish treat known as Polvorón on August 6, 2025. Available in select Godiva shops, cafes, and online, this traditional confection promises a unique melt-in-the-mouth experience that fans are sure to love.

Originating from the Andalusian region of Spain, Polvorón is a type of shortbread made using roasted wheat flour. It has a wonderfully crumbly texture that disintegrates in your mouth, creating a satisfying and delicate mouthfeel. Godiva's versions offer two exclusive flavors: Chocolate & Nuts and Strawberry, both crafted to appeal to a wide palette.

The Polvorón Chocolate & Nuts combines rich chocolate flavor and the crunchiness of almonds, making for a deliciously indulgent treat. Using 65% cocoa chocolate sourced from Belgium, Godiva ensures quality and flavor in every bite. The delightful aroma of cocoa enhances the experience, making this version a perfect companion for chocolate lovers.

Meanwhile, the Polvorón Strawberry is made with Belgian white chocolate blended with strawberry powder, evoking bright and fruity flavors.
