DDB Worldwide Triumphs Again at Cannes Lions 2025

In a remarkable achievement, DDB Worldwide, part of the Omnicom group, has once again claimed the prestigious title of Network of the Year at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2025. This incredible recognition marks the second consecutive year that DDB has received this honor, following their historic win in 2023.

The agency's performance was outstanding, surpassing its 2023 total with a staggering 112 Lions awarded, solidifying its position at the forefront of the global creative industry. This year, DDB was celebrated not only for its creativity but also for its transformative approach, guided by its newly appointed global leadership duo, CEO Alex Lubar and President and Chief Creative Officer Chaka Sobhani.

Since their assumption of leadership, Lubar and Sobhani have steered the network into a new era characterized by a tighter integration of creative efforts, emotional storytelling, and a focus on impactful work that resonates culturally and drives real business results.

Sobhani expressed her excitement about the win, stating, "I literally have no words. This means so much to us. I couldn’t be prouder of our DDB network and the passion, commitment, and love that has brought us this far. A huge thank you to our amazing clients for their trust and partnership - we wouldn’t be here without you and I hope we’ve made you proud. I hope this is just the beginning of many more great things to come from DDB, and on a personal note, I can only say it’s been the most incredible first year!”

In the spirit of celebration, Lubar remarked, "2023 was a pivotal year for DDB, but we treated it as a beginning. The momentum you are seeing today is the result of a global network aligned with a simple belief - creativity is the most powerful force in business. I am incredibly proud of our exceptional teams and our partner clients for this collective effort."
