Hankook & Company Group Unveils Aftermarket Innovations at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026

Hankook & Company Group has made a significant mark at the Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 exhibition, held from September 8 to 12 in Frankfurt, Germany. This year, the group featured Hankook Battery in collaboration with Hanon Systems, highlighting their commitment to enhancing the European aftermarket. This marks their second joint exhibition under the Hankook brand, following a successful showing at AAPEX 2025 in Las Vegas.

The display included a rich portfolio of premium automotive batteries such as AGM, EFB, and MF products. Since establishing its German subsidiary in Frankfurt along with a logistics base in Hamburg in 2022, Hankook has significantly fortified its European sales and supply network. With an increase in demand for high-performance 12V batteries due to the aging European vehicle parc and the rise of start-stop and hybrid vehicles, Hankook's efforts align perfectly with market needs.

The AGM batteries showcased are optimized for not just start-stop functionality but also for electric vehicles, offering operational lifespans up to four times longer than traditional MF batteries. This advancement, along with Hankook's extensive manufacturing footprint in Korea and the United States, supports a robust and efficient supply chain to cater to the growing European market.
