Nikka Home Unveils Compact Urban Showroom in Tokyo
Nikka Home Co., Ltd., a prominent name in the residential renovation industry, has officially opened its new showroom, the "Sumida Kikukawa Showroom," in Tokyo's Sumida Ward on September 13, 2025. This location is noted for being Nikka's smallest showroom to date, strategically positioned just 30 seconds on foot from Kikukawa Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line, making it uniquely accessible for urban customers.
A New Business Model for Urban Areas
The opening of this showroom marks the introduction of a compact, elite model that responds to the growing demand for easily accessible renovation consultation points in densely populated urban areas. As living spaces become smaller and the need for convenience increases, the Sumida Kikukawa Showroom aims to bridge the gap between local residents and renovation services, allowing them to quickly and easily explore their options.
Despite its reduced size, the showroom showcases the latest home equipment from major manufacturers, including kitchens and bathrooms, affording customers the chance to see and feel these products in person. By operating with a smaller team of skilled sales representatives, Nikka Home ensures a personalized service that caters closely to local community needs, maintaining a solid connection with its customer base.
This initiative is the second iteration of Nikka Home's “small-scale, high-efficiency” model, following the successful launch of the Ota Omori Showroom in 2023, which has already proven its effectiveness in the greater Tokyo area.
Accelerating Nationwide Expansion
Having celebrated its 38th anniversary in 2025, Nikka Home continues to expand its presence across Japan, operating more than 100 locations nationwide. The company is dedicated to customizing its showroom models to fit the unique characteristics of each community, ensuring relevance and fostering local relationships. In early 2025, additional showrooms will be opened in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, and Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, with ongoing construction of new showrooms in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
Through these efforts, Nikka Home remains committed to its core values of “in-house craftsmen performing in-house operations” and providing a consistent point of contact throughout the renovation process, striving to elevate the quality of renovations and customer satisfaction.
A New Era of Community-Centric Innovation
Nikka Home's philosophy champions the idea that renovations should be entrusted to local companies, reinforcing the company’s commitment to community-centric business models. The Sumida Kikukawa Showroom embodies this ethos within an urban context. Over the two-day grand opening event, more than 70 guests visited the new showroom, showcasing the considerable interest and excitement surrounding this innovative approach.
As Nikka Home listens to the voices of local residents, it is dedicated to building a trusted business that meets their renovation needs while embracing the very essence of community interaction.
