Eunice McFarland's Return to Fred Finch Youth & Family Services

Fred Finch Youth & Family Services has announced the appointment of Eunice McFarland as its new Vice President of Human Resources, marking a significant step in the organization's commitment to enhancing its leadership team. With a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years in the field of human resources, McFarland is set to bring her expertise in organizational knowledge and mission-driven work to the executive team.

McFarland previously worked at Fred Finch from 2008 to 2021, serving as both a Human Resources Generalist and later as the HR Manager for Southern California. Known for her collaborative spirit and unwavering dedication to the mission of the organization, she played a vital role in strengthening HR operations across various regions. Even after her tenure, she remained connected to Fred Finch, actively participating as a dedicated board member for CARES.

Since her departure from Fred Finch, McFarland served as the Director of Human Resources at Voices for Children, a nonprofit organization that advocates for youth in Southern California. In this leadership role, she oversaw HR functions and spearheaded initiatives to promote equity, inclusion, and employee well-being throughout the organization.

McFarland holds a Bachelor’s degree from Alma College and a Master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Glasgow. Additionally, she is a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP). McFarland will officially begin her new role on July 28, 2025, and will be based in San Diego, working closely with teams across California.
