In a remarkable presentation at the 2026 Hannover International Motor Show (IAA), FOTON Motor has unveiled its comprehensive range of new-energy vehicles, solidifying its position as a leader in the transitioning automotive landscape. With the global momentum toward low-carbon transportation, Europe has emerged as a crucial arena for testing and innovating new-energy commercial vehicles.

FOTON’s booth, spanning over 1,000 square meters in Hall 21, carries the inspiring theme of "EASY MOVE" and features an impressive array of seven complete vehicles alongside six core components developed in-house. The showcased products are designed to meet the diverse needs of European transportation, catering to long-haul logistics, urban sanitation, city deliveries, and public passenger transit systems. This diverse lineup includes various new-energy models, alongside advanced heavy-duty batteries, e-axles, electronic controls, and megawatt charging piles, showcasing the company's prowess in independent research and development across the entire supply chain.

As part of its strategic vision for international expansion, FOTON has transcended the traditional approach of merely exporting individual products, moving towards providing comprehensive localized solutions that encompass technology, supply chains, and after-sales services. The company's steadfast commitment to the European market is underscored by its compliance with stringent regulations such as WVTA and VECTO certifications, further enhancing the credibility and acceptance of its new-energy vehicles across European nations.

FOTON has established a European Regional Parts Distribution Center in Unna, Germany, which commenced operations recently, aimed at optimizing local after-sales response capabilities. To support its expansive service coverage, FOTON operates 32 localized factories, complemented by over 1,200 sales outlets and 1,500 service points across the region, creating a closed-loop service system that ensures efficient vehicle delivery, parts supply, and maintenance. This robust infrastructure has facilitated a remarkable growth in FOTON's export volumes, with 149,000 units shipped from January to August 2026, reflecting a 44.3% increase compared to the previous year.

On Media Day scheduled for September 14, FOTON is set to make three pivotal announcements. Firstly, the company will reveal an innovative strategy aimed at enhancing its presence in the European market, focusing on the evolution of new-energy products, localized operations, and the development of a comprehensive service ecosystem. This reflects FOTON's deep commitment to supporting Europe's transition toward low-carbon commercial transport solutions.

Secondly, FOTON will celebrate the delivery of its 13-millionth vehicle globally, with this notable model being introduced first in the Spanish market, marking a significant milestone in the company's journey towards globalization. Finally, the event will also serve as a platform for unveiling the CAVAN BEACON, a versatile electric and hydrogen-powered heavy truck capable of exceeding 300 kilometers on long-haul journeys. Alongside this, FOTON will showcase seven new-energy vehicles and six self-developed components, emphasizing its commitment to technological independence and showcasing a zero-carbon logistics model created in China.

FOTON’s presence at the Hannover IAA represents not just a culmination of efforts to establish a foothold in Europe, but a demonstration of the capabilities of Chinese smart manufacturing on a global scale. The booth will remain open to international dealers, customers, and media from September 15-20, accompanied by partners such as ZF, CATL, and EVE Energy, all affirming the collective strength within the supply chain. Together, they illustrate a commitment to a sustainable future in the commercial vehicle sector, positioning FOTON as a major player in the global automotive industry’s transition towards electrification and sustainability.
