Behind the Scenes® Launches Second Collaboration with Baby Assassins Movie

The Exciting Second Collaboration between Behind the Scenes® and the Movie 'Baby Assassins'

Behind the Scenes® is back with a bang, announcing their much-anticipated second collaborative collection with the movie 'Baby Assassins.' This collection aims to bridge past and present cultural elements for the next generation. The theme revolves around 'Emotional Revival,' marrying Behind the Scenes®'s unique aesthetic with the edgy elements of the film.

Unique Sweatshirts Inspired by Iconic Art

At the heart of this collaboration is the standout piece: a limited-edition sweatshirt created using the iconic vintage lettering of legendary artist Jamie Reid. Known for his punk-inspired designs, Reid's renegade spirit naturally resonates with the bold world of 'Baby Assassins.' The Behind the Scenes® team has successfully captured this sense of freedom, emphasizing the punk ethos that defines both the film and Reid’s artistic legacy.

The design team collaborated with John Merchant, who manages Reid's estate, to create the 'BABY ASSASSINS' logo. This partnership has resulted in a truly unique sweatshirt that embodies the spirit of rebellion and artistic innovation, making it a one-of-a-kind collector's item.

Distinctive Design Elements

This is not just your typical movie merchandise; it’s a piece that fans of both the film and punk culture will cherish. Utilizing a silk screen technique alongside rubber print methods, the vintage-style lettering stays true to Reid's artistic style. The black variant of the sweatshirt represents the character Chisato, while the ash variant symbolizes Mahiro, each showcasing their memorable quotes in English on the back of the garments:

  • - Chisato: "Thanks for being such an idiot!"
  • - Mahiro: "Bet on me, Chisato Sugimoto."

Additionally, the left sleeve features a printed label reminiscent of traditional punk t-shirts, making this design not just unique but also a subtle nod that only true fans will appreciate. The allure of this collection lies in its design, which appears unofficial at first glance, inviting a deeper connection with those who know its roots.

Availability and Pop Up Store Information

Both sweatshirts are available in limited quantities, priced at ¥20,350 (including tax) each. Those interested in acquiring these collectibles can look forward to the celebratory pop-up stores located at:
