A New Chapter in Rhythm Gaming: 'Fighter' Comes to Project Sekai

SEGA, headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, and Colorful Palette, located in Shibuya, Tokyo, have some exciting news for fans of their rhythm and adventure game, Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku. As of November 20, 2025, players can enjoy a brand-new original song titled 'Fighter,' crafted by the talented artist jon-YAKITORY. This song represents the latest unit track from the esteemed group, Vivid BAD SQUAD, and is available for all players through the in-game 'Presents' feature.

Major In-Game Event: 'Overcome One's Limits'

Starting the same day, Project Sekai will also feature the exciting event titled 'Overcome One's Limits'. This special event runs from November 20, 3:00 PM to November 28, 8:59 PM. Throughout this duration, players can participate in various game modes including 'Solo Live,' 'Group Live,' and 'Challenge Live' to accumulate scores. In addition, activities within 'My Sekai' will reward players with 'Event Points' and 'Event Badges' based on stamina used in resource gathering.

Obtaining 'Event Points' unlocks parts of the event story, while the points accrued by the end of the event will determine player rankings in the cumulative event leaderboard. Additionally, players can trade their acquired 'Event Badges' at the event exchange for new members and exclusive in-game items.

After Event Live Performance

After the main events conclude, an 'After Live' will take place, specifically the 'Overcome One’s Limits After Live'. Scheduled for November 28 and 29, attendees can join these virtual performances that showcase a runtime of about 8 minutes and 48 seconds. Participants on the first day stand to receive exclusive rewards including a stamp and 300 crystals.

New Pull Feature: 'Good to Go! Gacha'

In addition to the new song and event, the 'Good to Go! Gacha' feature launches on the same day, running from November 20, 12:00 PM to November 30, 11:59 AM. This gacha introduces three new members, and some of them come with special 'live outfits'. These outfits can further unlock alternatives for other characters if obtained. On December 4 at 8:30 PM, fans should tune in for a YouTube Live stream featuring 'After Talk for Overcome One’s Limits'. Cast members will join to reflect on the event story and share their experiences from the After Live performances. The role of Shinonome Akito, voiced by Fumiya Imai, will be highlighted in this session.

Continuing to expand the musical range within Project Sekai, two new vocal versions for 'Saa' (by Niru Kajitsu) have been introduced featuring Akito and Tōya. Similarly, an alternative vocal version for 'Haven' sung by Kagamine Len has also been added. Players can acquire these new versions via the 'Another Vocal Shop' by trading 'Vocal Cards'.

In terms of aesthetics, fans can now enjoy an original 2D music video for 'Yoidore Shirazu', which further enhances the gaming experience available in the live and viewing modes.
