Round Room Launches Stuff the Bus Campaign to Enhance School Supplies Nationwide

Round Room Launches 'Stuff the Bus' Campaign

In a heartfelt effort to uplift educators and students, Round Room, LLC—the esteemed Verizon Authorized Retailer—has introduced its inaugural "Stuff the Bus" campaign. This initiative is set to run throughout June, inviting community members to donate essential school supplies at various participating locations. The campaign is part of Round Room's broader commitment to support education through its ongoing Teachers Rock and School Rocks initiatives.

With statistics from the National Education Association highlighting that over 90% of teachers spend personal funds on classroom supplies, Round Room aims to alleviate this financial burden. Notably, one fortunate school will receive a school bus filled with supplies, while other finalists will also be awarded necessary educational items based on their community support.

Community Involvement

From June 1 to June 30, local TCC and Wireless Zone retail locations will serve as donation centers for new school supplies, including notebooks, pencils, and more. Each participating school has been nominated by a local business partner, reflecting a collaborative community spirit.

The finalist schools for this year’s campaign include:
  • - Deans Mill School – Mystic, Connecticut, sponsored by the Sea Research Foundation, Mystic Aquarium.
  • - Brooks School Elementary – Fishers, Indiana, sponsored by Asurion.
  • - Hickory Middle School – Chesapeake, Virginia, sponsored by Virginia Food Plots.
  • - Kipp Indy Unite Elementary – Indianapolis, Indiana, sponsored by Dealers Wholesale.
  • - Waterford High School – Waterford, Connecticut, with sponsorship from Maxum Irrigation and Jordan Brook Lawncare.

The grand finale of the campaign will take place on July 27, during the School Rocks Backpack Giveaway event. Here, the school that rallies the most community support through donations will win the school bus filled with supplies, ensuring that every nominated finalist also walks away with all collected donations.

A Message from Leadership

Scott Moorehead, the CEO of Round Room, expresses the company's dedication to the campaign, stating, "At Round Room, we believe in the power of community and the importance of education. Stuff the Bus is more than a campaign; it's a movement to ensure every teacher and student has the tools they need to succeed."

How to Get Involved

The community is urged to contribute to this noble cause by dropping off new, unused school supplies at their nearest participating location. Detailed information on locations and campaign updates can be found at www.wirelesszone.com/stuff-the-bus.

Not only does Round Room foster support through the Stuff the Bus campaign, but it also engages in quarterly community events aimed at strengthening local initiatives.
