Next PR Teams Up with Assistance League for Social Impact in Colorado Springs

Next PR and Assistance League of Colorado Springs Join Forces for Community Impact

Next PR, a notable public relations agency recognized for its innovative approach, has formed a partnership with the Assistance League of Colorado Springs (ALCS) for their 2025 Conscious Capitalism program. This partnership stands as a testament to Next PR's ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful social change through strategic communication initiatives.

Scheduled to take place from April to September 2025, this collaboration aims to bolster ALCS's outreach and influence within the Colorado Springs community. Under this partnership, Next PR will provide pro bono public relations support, enabling ALCS to further its mission of serving various vulnerable populations, including children, families, survivors of assault, veterans, and youth in need.

Founded in 1968, ALCS operates as a volunteer-based nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering essential services that empower and uplift deserving individuals. Among its standout initiatives is Operation School Bell®, a program that supplies new clothing and grooming materials to students in need, ensuring they feel confident as they embark on their academic journey. Another critical offering is the Assault Survivor Kits®, which provide necessary clothing and toiletries to individuals recovering from traumatic experiences. Additionally, the Sweet Dreams program ensures young people transitioning out of foster care or homelessness have a safe place to sleep, offering new beds and bedding.

Heather Kelly, the CEO of Next PR, has expressed her enthusiasm regarding this partnership: “Working alongside the Assistance League of Colorado Springs is a privilege. Witnessing the profound impact of ALCS in the community has been inspiring. I’ve had the joy of volunteering at their Bargain Box thrift store with my daughter, and we both cherish the experience.” This collaboration will spotlight ALCS's impactful story and transformative community programs.

Next PR's strategic initiatives for ALCS will include conducting a comprehensive social media audit that will culminate in a detailed best practices guide tailored to the organization’s needs. Additionally, they will assist in creating engaging content, devise targeted media relations strategies, and conduct a messaging workshop, ultimately crafting a messaging document that enables ALCS to amplify its narrative and connect with a broader audience.

Suzanne Discenza, the President of ALCS, expressed her excitement about the partnership: “We are thrilled to team up with Next PR to enhance our program's reach. Their support will play a pivotal role in helping us connect with even more community members and continue our mission of facilitating meaningful change.”

This initiative falls under Next PR's Conscious Capitalism program, emphasizing their dedication to the support of organizations that make significant contributions to their local communities.
