On July 17, 2025, JPI (Japan Planning Institute) is hosting a seminar featuring Akio Takeuchi, the Managing Executive Officer and Head of the Construction Department at Keihin Kyuko Railway Co., Ltd. Context of the Seminar



The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically transformed social issues and values not just in Japan, but globally. In response to these changes, Keihin Kyuko Railway aims to adapt to the evolving needs of local residents by formulating a "Co-Creation Strategy for Line Value" by May 2024. This strategy emphasizes enhancing the charm of the entire area serviced by the railway through various initiatives.

1. Co-Creation Strategy for Line Value
This section will outline the framework and vision behind the strategic initiatives aimed at improving the shared value in the areas served by the railway.

2. Introduction of New Airport Connection Lines
As user numbers continue to increase, especially at Haneda Airport, this segment will cover the upcoming projects designed to enhance transportation capacity and convenience.

3. Continuous Elevated Crossing Project Near Shinagawa Station
This part will discuss the ongoing development in the Shinagawa area as well as the surrounding infrastructure that will support the expected surge in transportation demands following the opening of the Linear Chuo Shinkansen and the extension of the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line.

4. Q&A Session
Attendees will have an opportunity to engage directly with the speaker during the question and answer portion of the seminar.

Attendance and Fees



This event will be conducted exclusively in-person and will not include live or recorded streaming options. The registration fees are as follows:
  • - Single Attendee: 37,320 JPY (tax included)
  • - Group Registration (2 or more participants from the same company): 32,320 JPY each
  • - Special Rate for Local Government Officials: 11,000 JPY each (restricted to two attendees and requires simultaneous registration and identical attendance mode).
