LEGO Group Launches Creativity Workshop with Music Theme for Summer 2025 Fun
Off to the Summer Fun: LEGO's Music Creativity Workshop
The LEGO Group is wrapping up its 2025 Creativity Workshop series with an exciting focus on music. This summer, children aged 6-12 can participate in free workshops that ignite creativity and allow them to express themselves through music and LEGO building. With options to join both online and in-person events, the LEGO Group is committed to making creativity accessible to all.
Date and Location of the Workshops
The final Creativity Workshop is scheduled to take place on August 16-17, 2025, at select LEGO Stores across North America. These vibrant sessions are designed for parents and children to engage, explore, and build together. Online access is also available, ensuring that those unable to visit a store can still get in on the fun.
Engage in Musical Building
The highlight of the workshops is a special online session led by renowned French violinist Esther Abrami. This interactive experience invites children to create music-themed LEGO structures, such as a music stage, musical notes, and speakers. Not only does this approach foster creativity, but it also helps develop essential social skills as participants collaborate and share their ideas.
In-store experiences will feature Brick Specialists guiding young builders in creating their own microphones, further enhancing the immersive nature of the workshops. Both formats are designed to stimulate curiosity, enhance creativity, and encourage a deeper appreciation of music.
Registration Details
Families are encouraged to reserve their spots for the in-store sessions — they can do so for free at LEGO.com/CreativityWorkshops. Advance booking is essential, as spaces are limited and expected to fill up quickly. The online workshops featuring Esther Abrami can also be streamed to allow participation from the comfort of one’s home, ensuring everyone has a chance to explore their musical talents.
Esther Abrami’s Comments
In her own words, Esther Abrami said, "Music has the power to connect us and bring so much joy, especially during the summer, when everything feels lighter and more playful. I’m excited to inspire the next generation of creators to blend music and artistry through LEGO. This partnership with the LEGO Group celebrates creativity and self-expression, which are vital for every child’s development."
The LEGO Group has crafted these workshops not just to entertain but to uplift and engage young minds, encouraging them to think creatively and embrace their artistic side. The themes change throughout the year, with previous workshops celebrating Friendship, Botanicals, and now Summer Fun.
