Discovering Career Paths: DOMINISTA CHALLENGE Program by Dormy Inn Hirosaki

Exploring Career Perspectives: DOMINISTA CHALLENGE Program

The Kyoritsu Maintenance Co., which operates the Dormy Inn business hotel chain, is organizing a unique career experience program known as "DOMINISTA CHALLENGE" for high school students at Hirosaki Higashi High School. This program is set to take place from July 9 to 10, 2025, at Dormy Inn Hirosaki and aims to cultivate students' awareness about various professions through direct involvement in the hospitality industry.

What is DOMINISTA CHALLENGE?

Since its inception in 2019, the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE program has been conducted across various Dormy Inn hotels nationwide for middle and high school students. The initiative allows students to engage in essential hotel operations, including front desk duties, cleaning, and making beds. The overarching goal of this program is to provide students with an understanding of the behind-the-scenes workings of a hotel, which fosters awareness of the value of helping others and working together. It also instills a sense of pride in their local community by engaging with visitors who come to the area.

In today's globalized world, where individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds interact daily, this vocational experience at a hotel offers students a unique opportunity to learn about multicultural coexistence. To date, six schools from the Tohoku area have participated, with a total of 16 students benefiting from this career education initiative.
