America's Auto Auction Expands Reach with Acquisition of G3 Vehicle Auctions in the UK

America's Auto Auction Goes Global

In a significant stride towards global expansion, America's Auto Auction has officially announced its acquisition of G3 Remarketing, a prominent vehicle auction company based in the United Kingdom. This strategic move allows America's Auto Auction to establish its inaugural international presence, expanding its services beyond the United States.

Based in Carmel, Indiana, America's Auto Auction has laid the groundwork for a broader market reach by integrating G3, which operates under the name G3 Vehicle Auctions. This acquisition highlights the company’s commitment to enhancing its auction experience through digital innovation and strong partnerships with reputable entities.

Founded in 2009 by Matt Dale and Amanda Holtby, G3 has become synonymous with customer-focused vehicle remarketing in the UK. Over the past 15 years, the company has honed its auction processes to create transparent, user-friendly experiences for both dealers and vendors. Its reputation as a reliable auction provider sets the stage for a beneficial alliance with America’s Auto Auction.

Chuck Tapp, CEO of America’s Auto Auction, emphasizes the importance of this partnership, stating, "Entering the UK market is a defining moment for our company, and there was only one way we wanted to do it, with a partner that is already setting the standard." G3's proven track record, coupled with its modern approach to auctioneering, makes it an ideal candidate for this cross-Atlantic collaboration.

The acquisition encompasses G3's two leading locations in Castleford and Bedford, which are instrumental in the UK’s vehicle auction landscape. The Castleford site, operational since 2021, handles around 50,000 vehicles each year with multiple auctions conducted weekly. The Bedford site further solidifies G3's national influence, processing approximately 30,000 vehicles annually and enhancing access for dealers across southern England.

G3's operational model is designed to streamline vehicle remarketing. It includes daily auctions segmented by price point, giving dealers access to a comprehensive and curated inventory. The range of vehicles available at G3 includes everything from cars of various models to vans, bikes, and specialized vehicles.

Key to this acquisition is America's Auto Auction's promise to uphold the values and culture that have driven G3’s success. Tapp assures customers and vendors that they can expect continuity in the quality of service they know and trust. The auction will continue to operate under the G3 Vehicle Auction brand, maintaining the reputation it has built over the years.

Matt Dale, one of G3's founders, supported the acquisition, believing it would usher in significant development opportunities for the existing G3 team. He expressed confidence that G3 would continue to thrive under the guidance of America’s Auto Auction while preserving its core values and service model.

By aligning with G3, America’s Auto Auction reinforces its resolve to provide tailored, customer-centric auction experiences. This strategic move underscores the company’s ongoing mission to expand its global footprint while partnering with top-tier auction services worldwide.

With this acquisition, America’s Auto Auction positions itself as a formidable player in the global vehicle remarketing arena, poised for continued success in its commitment to quality service and operational excellence.
