KYMCO Pulses with Innovation at EICMA 2026

The 2026 EICMA motorcycle show officially kicked off in Milan on November 3 and will run through November 8, drawing a crowd of international media and motorcycle enthusiasts. Among the highlights was the highly anticipated presentation by KYMCO, where they unveiled their latest flagship models, the CV-X45 adventure crossover bike and the premium urban scooter X-Town S 350.

A Closer Look at the Models

CV-X45: KYMCO’s CV-X45 merges cutting-edge design with impressive functionality. The adventure crossover is powered by a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 427 cm³. This engine delivers enhanced low-to-mid-range torque and superior climbing capabilities, making it suitable for various terrains. The bike's PTM transmission system notably reduces unsprung weight, thus enhancing handling precision. Featuring three riding modes, it allows riders to adapt to different conditions seamlessly. The suspension system includes a 41 mm inverted front fork and a six-armed rear suspension, both providing a generous 150 mm travel, ensuring robustness across diverse riding scenarios. Among its notable features are an ergonomic design, a 13.5-liter fuel tank, and a user-friendly digital color dashboard, alongside generous storage space—making it versatile for both adventure and daily rides.

X-Town S 350: The all-new X-Town S 350 is engineered for urban commuting while also excelling in medium to long-distance travel. Built on a completely new frame, this scooter is lighter by 3 kg (15% lighter) compared to previous models, while delivering improved rigidity for better stability and agility. Equipped with advanced technologies like class D LED headlights, a uniquely styled rear light, a 7-inch color TFT display, and a keyless ignition system, it emphasizes convenience. Additionally, it features an adjustable windshield and twin rear shocks with five-position pre-load adjustments, guaranteeing comfort for all ride lengths. Safety is prioritized with a braking system that integrates 260 mm front and 240 mm rear disc brakes, supported by ABS and TCS technology.

KYMCO's Commitment to Innovation

Mr. Chun-Ping Ko, Chairman of KYMCO Group, emphasized the company's enduring strength and reputation in the motorcycle industry since its international debut in 1992, showcasing an impressive annual export figure of over 400,000 units. With a keen focus on urban mobility trends, KYMCO has carved a niche within the scooter market, securing top three positions in key markets like Italy and Spain and forming OEM partnerships with major manufacturers such as BMW. The strategic development of differentiated products has allowed KYMCO to tap into niche markets, with the CV3 three-wheeled scooter and the MXU700 ATV performing particularly well in various European markets.
