The concept embraces the vibrant colors of spring by featuring matcha and pistachio, intertwined with a modern New York style, giving life to an elegant afternoon tea experience against the stunning backdrop of the zelkova tree-lined streets of Omotesando.

Drenched in the refined essence of New York style, TAVERN by the green presents an afternoon tea that honors the fresh and radiant season of late spring. Guests can look forward to an array of beautifully curated desserts centered around matcha and pistachio. The offerings include four types of matcha and three types of pistachio, all beautifully garnished with berries to enhance the visual appeal of the dessert stand.

The matcha creations include a rich Uji matcha New York cheesecake, a crunchy millefeuille filled with fresh strawberries, a tart showcasing the deep flavors of chocolate and matcha, and a glass dessert inspired by matcha latte featuring dumplings.

The pistachio selection boasts delightful scones with a rich aroma, smooth mousse, and a canelé coated in crushed pistachios.

Satisfy Your Palate with Savory Offerings


In addition to the sweet selections, guests can enjoy four seasonal savory items alongside a salad and soup, ensuring a satisfying culinary experience. Highlights include:

  • - Edamame hummus served with tortilla chips
  • - TAVERN special green sliders enhanced with sansho
