China Mobile and Huawei Initiate Recruitment for Innovative New Calling Services

China Mobile and Huawei Launch Recruitment for New Calling Services

In a significant move aimed at revolutionizing communication, China Mobile Henan has teamed up with Huawei and other ecosystem partners to initiate the recruitment of the first internal user group for their cutting-edge New Calling services. This initiative follows extensive network upgrades throughout the province and marks the official debut of interactive calling, highlighting a pivotal step forward in the global landscape of New Calling services.

The New Calling services leverage advanced data channels, which serve as innovative data transmission pathways in the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). By profoundly enhancing traditional data services, these channels allow for real-time interaction across various data types, enabling seamless communication between the cloud and users. This innovative approach supports a spectrum of functionalities, including audio and video calls as well as interactive engagements, providing numerous opportunities for real-time connectivity.

China Mobile Henan, alongside industry leaders such as Huawei, China Mobile Internet Company, China Mobile Terminal Company, vivo, and OPPO, has effectively bridged both upstream and downstream gaps to recruit users for these transformative services. Currently, over 20 terminal models are in place to support five distinct types of New Calling services based on data channels. These include features such as screen sharing, enhanced real-time translation, improved fun calling options, digital human interactions, and intelligent customer service.

Key Features of New Calling Services:

1. Screen Sharing: Users can share their screens in real-time during calls, drawing visible marks with different-colored brushes for collaborative purposes.
2. Enhanced Real-Time Translation: Leveraging advanced data channel technologies, users benefit from a significantly improved translation service, customizing language preferences and font sizes for optimal communication.
3. Fun Enhanced Calling: Users are offered an entertaining experience where they can personalize calls by altering backgrounds, applying stickers, and using AR effects, thus adding enjoyment to conversations.
4. Digital Human: Users can create and replace their virtual avatars during calls. These avatars, controlled by facial expressions, provide an extra layer of interactivity and fun, enhancing user engagement.
5. Intelligent Customer Service: Engaging with customer service becomes interactive through data channel technology, where users can instantly claim red envelopes and GoTone rights during calls with China Mobile’s service team.

This recruitment effort is paving the way for widespread adoption of interactive calling services, solidifying the foundation for future advancements in New Calling services based on dynamic data channels. Moreover, China Mobile Henan plans to continue collaborating with industry partners like Huawei to innovate further within the domain of data channel-based services, aimed at continually enhancing the user experience within the New Calling spectrum.

As advancements in telecommunications continue to reshape how we communicate, initiatives like those from China Mobile and Huawei signify the ongoing evolution in the industry, setting new standards for user interaction and connectivity. The potential for real-time communication to not only facilitate calls but transform them into engaging, interactive experiences represents a remarkable leap in both technology and user experience, establishing a bright future for telecommunications.
