JENESYS Program: Promoting Diplomatic Ties with Indonesia
The JENESYS program is an initiative aimed at enhancing diplomatic and cultural relations between Japan and Indonesia through the invitation of young Indonesian diplomats and local government officials. The focus is on political, cultural, and maritime exchanges, allowing participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of Japan's foreign policies, economy, and culture.
Objectives of the Program
The primary goal of the JENESYS program is to deepen the understanding of Japan’s crucial policies among the young generation of Indonesia. This is achieved through lectures and discussions with experts, alongside opportunities for networking with Japanese officials. Participants will engage with diverse perspectives, fostering strong ties that can support future collaborations.
Incorporating administrators involved in marine affairs allows for focused insights into Japan's maritime security, fisheries, and related practices. By advocating mutual understanding, the program aims to strengthen friendship and collaboration between the two nations.
