Experience the Intersection of Coffee, Art, and Design at a Unique Pop-Up Event

Dive into the World of Coffee, Art, and Design

From October 1st to October 31st, 2025, immerse yourself in a unique pop-up event titled "Coffee × Art × Design" at the renowned Raw Sugar Roast coffee shop, located in Setagaya, Tokyo. Hosted by Ko Design Concept, which serves as the official distributor for the renowned Danish poster brand PAPER COLLECTIVE and the Taiwanese design brand esaila, this event promises to enhance your daily life with stunning design and artwork.

The Venue: Raw Sugar Roast

Raw Sugar Roast is not just any coffee shop. Renowned for its meticulously crafted specialty coffee, this roastery provides a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for coffee aficionados and design enthusiasts alike. During this pop-up event, the ambiance of the café will be adorned with an exclusive selection of over 500 posters from PAPER COLLECTIVE, showcasing the brand's commitment to integrating art into everyday life.

Alongside the vibrant art installations, you’ll find yourself surrounded by the contemporary and minimalistic furniture designs from esaila. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with the pieces, including stools and side tables that invite you to sit, touch, and fully experience the designs.

A Fusion of Coffee and Creativity

As you sip your favorite brew, take a moment to appreciate how PAPER COLLECTIVE captures a blend of aesthetics and philanthropy in its approach. Established in 2012 in Copenhagen, PAPER COLLECTIVE collaborates with talented graphic designers, illustrators, and artists to produce high-quality posters. The brand ensures the use of sustainable materials, contributing a portion of its revenue to various charitable projects around the globe, such as building schools in underserved areas like Taplejung, Nepal, in collaboration with the Human Practice Foundation.

Featured products during this event will include the innovative "Acoustic Art Panel" series, photo prints from Dutch designer Raw Color, and various artworks by Danish studios and artists, showcasing a blend of contemporary art and design.

Discovering esaila's Unique Offerings

Founded in 2012 by designer Kenyon Yeh, esaila reflects Taiwan's vibrant modern design scene with minimalist collections of furniture, lighting, and decorative objects. The name "esaila" itself symbolizes the idea of possibility and lightness in daily living, inspired by the Mandarin term "可以" (meaning: able to).

At the pop-up, discover unique pieces designed by esaila, including the Bravo stool by Swiss firm BIG-GAME and multi-functional items like cork pushpins that serve as both stools and side tables. Each product is crafted in Taiwan, ensuring a perfect blend of technical mastery and aesthetic appeal.
