A Groundbreaking Partnership: Camp Fire and AT&T



In a significant move aimed at addressing the critical issue of digital education for youth, Camp Fire—an esteemed national youth development organization—has entered into an expanded collaboration with AT&T. Announced with a $750,000 investment, this initiative is poised to make substantial strides in equipping young individuals with vital skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), alongside fostering digital literacy. This expansion builds on a successful previous collaboration, positively impacting over 40,000 young people across 13 states.

Goals of the Collaboration


The initiative will bolster six key programmatic areas across 19 affiliates, focusing on:
1. Bridging the STEM Divide: Facilitating access to effective STEM programs.
2. Teen Leadership Pathways: Providing leadership training and opportunities for community involvement.
3. Youth Well-being in the Digital Age: Ensuring mental and emotional health in a tech-driven world.
4. Absolutely Incredible Kid Day®: A special day dedicated to recognizing young individuals in 2026, aiming to inspire through letters of encouragement.
5. Storytelling: Connecting youth through narrative and creativity.
6. Expanding Partnerships: Fostering collaborations to elevate educational outcomes.

This extensive framework aims to foster holistic development in young people, involving 2,500 individuals in enhanced STEM education, while also providing 500 youth with mentorship and skills training related to career readiness.
