Celebrating Community Initiatives: 2025 Life Activity Grant Ceremony



On December 9, 2025, the Pal System Ibaraki Tochigi will hold the much-anticipated Life Activity Grant Ceremony and exchange event at the Mito Citizens' Hall. This occasion is designed to uplift grassroots activities by providing financial support to various community organizations and fostering partnerships with cooperatives to promote a more livable environment for everyone.

Grant Overview


This year, Pal System Ibaraki Tochigi opened applications for grants aimed at citizens, students, and NGOs operating within Ibaraki and Tochigi Prefectures. After an extensive selection process by the Fund Management Committee, 25 organizations were chosen to receive a total of 3.84 million yen in grants from 47 applications received.

The grant application process was supported by the certified NPO Ibaraki NPO Center Commons, led by President Yoshihiro Yokota, and the Ibaraki Shimbun, headed by President Katsutoshi Watanabe.

During the ceremony, each organization will present their efforts and activities, allowing the 21 selected organizations for the 2024 financial year to share their experiences. This interaction between cooperatives and the awarded organizations aims to create a stronger network within the community, paving the way for future collaborations.

25 organizations will be featured across four categories: Hop (6 organizations), Step (12 organizations), Jump (2 organizations), and Pal (5 organizations).
- Part 2: Activity Introductions and Exchange Event for 2024 and 2025 Grant Organizations (2:15 PM - 4:30 PM)

During the exchange session, grant recipients, cooperative members, and related groups will engage with each other, fostering connections crucial for community development.
