The 15th Shinjuku Kids Festival: An Exciting Day for Families
On December 20, join us at the stunning Shinjuku Central Park for the 15th Shinjuku Kids Festival, hosted by Criacao Shinjuku, a local soccer club dedicated to nurturing children’s interests through engaging experiences. This family-friendly event is designed specifically for preschoolers and elementary school-aged children, allowing them to discover new passions and activities through various workshops and hands-on experiences.
A Variety of Free Activities for Kids
Children will have the opportunity to participate in nine diverse booths featuring activities such as science workshops, sports experiences, crafting sessions, and seasonal projects. These booths, which are completely free to join, encourage children to express their interests and get hands-on with what they love. Parents are also encouraged to join their children, making it a perfect bonding experience for families.
Background of the Festival
The Shinjuku Kids Festival was initiated in October 2021, aiming to provide children living in the urban heart of Tokyo with opportunities to encounter what they love and wish to explore. Collaborating with several partners, including universities, vocational schools, NGOs, and businesses, Criacao Shinjuku continues to create a safe environment for kids to try new things. Hosted primarily at Shinjuku Central Park, this year marks the festival's 15th iteration.
