About the Webinars
The events entitled
"What Does the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Do?" and
"How Do You Get In?" target university students—from third-year job seekers to first and second-year students who are just beginning to think about their professional futures. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with young employees from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in a panel discussion format where they’ll discuss their job roles, responsibilities, and share their experiences regarding examination strategies.

Webinar 1: How to Become a Tokyo Metropolitan Government Employee - Challenging with SPI! A New Method Expanding Future Options
- - Date & Time: January 22, 2028 (Thursday) from 18:00 to 19:00
- - Overview: This session covers the new examination method that utilizes the SPI system, which eliminates the need for specific civil servant test preparations. Young government professionals will provide insights into the trends and effective strategies to prepare. Additionally, details about their day-to-day roles and the overall workplace environment will be shared. Attendees can also ask questions in real-time during the session.
Webinar 2: Understanding Tokyo Government Jobs (Technical Edition)
- - Date & Time: February 9, 2028 (Monday) from 18:00 to 19:00
- - Overview: This session aims to clarify what technical positions in the government entail. Participants will learn about various job roles divided into specialized categories and gain a better understanding of what makes a career in public service unique compared to the private sector. Four types of technical staff—civil engineering, architecture, mechanical, and electrical engineering—will be featured.

Registration for the webinars is available through
MyNavi 2027. The registration will close once the participant cap of 2,000 slots per session is reached, so early application is encouraged. Additional slots may be offered if any cancellations occur.
