On January 19, 2026, the innovative NEV brand LEPAS from the Chery Group made history by inaugurating its first global showroom in Jakarta, Indonesia. This significant event attracted over a hundred attendees, including government officials, media representatives, influencers, and dealership partners, marking a pivotal moment in the brand's expansion journey.

The opening ceremony featured notable personalities such as Indonesian government officials, executives from LEPAS Indonesia, and the reigning Miss Universe Indonesia 2025. Together, they participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil the showroom, a space designed to showcase LEPAS's flagship model, the LEPAS L8. This model is celebrated for its combination of cutting-edge innovation and sleek design.

A standout feature of the showroom is AiMOGA, a robot guide that offers intelligent assistance and leads visitors through the space, creating an immersive experience. Lifestyle experts noted the showroom's unique ability to blend advanced technology with elegant aesthetics, stating, "From robotic reception to the futuristic cabin experience, the showroom seamlessly integrates technology with sophisticated style."

As part of the event, LEPAS also introduced a time capsule, symbolizing the brand's long-term commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability. According to Zeng Shuo, the President of LEPAS Indonesia, the establishment of the MAS Kelapa Gading showroom reinforces the brand's pledge to sustainably develop its presence through a cohesive network, high-quality service, and a distinctive branding experience.

Since its launch as an independent brand in April 2025, LEPAS has achieved numerous milestones across the globe. It made its overseas debut at the Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) and participated in its first European event at the Salone dell'Auto di Torino in Italy. The brand has also signed distributor agreements in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, and organized a brand launch ceremony in South Africa.
