Autodesk's Team USA Campaign
On October 29, 2025, Autodesk unveiled an inspiring campaign in honor of Team USA, coinciding with the 100-day countdown to the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games to be held in Milano Cortina in 2026. As the Official Design and Make Platform for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA, Autodesk seeks to celebrate not just the elite athleticism of these competitors but their innovative spirit that aligns with the brand’s ethos.
This campaign, part of Autodesk's broader initiative called the
Let There Be Anything series, highlights the stories of three remarkable athletes:
Mike Schultz,
Erin Jackson, and
Colby Stevenson. Each athlete exemplifies a unique blend of athletic prowess and innovative thinking, embodying the belief that greatness stems from design and creation, whether on the field of play or in everyday life.
Celebrating the Innovators Playing for Team USA
Mike Schultz: Innovator and Designer
Paralympic snowboarder
Mike Schultz turned a life-altering snowmobile accident into a journey of innovation. After losing his leg in 2008, Schultz didn't let this setback define him. Instead, he took the initiative to design his own prosthetic leg tailored for competitive sports. By 2010, he founded
BioDapt, a company dedicated to providing high-performance prosthetics, which has significantly impacted the lives of fellow athletes by powering around 90 percent of lower limb amputee competitors on the Para Snowboard World Cup tour.
Mike's journey showcases an indomitable spirit empowered by creativity: "I have two passions in life — one is being an athlete, the other is creating things in my workshop. Partnering with Autodesk feels natural. We all share the drive to push boundaries and innovate. I can't wait to see how Autodesk’s technology can elevate my work in prosthetics."
Erin Jackson: Precision on Ice
U.S. Olympic speed skater
Erin Jackson adds an engineering mindset to her athletic training, having made history in 2022 when she became the first Black woman to win an Olympic gold medal in speed skating. Before her Olympic achievements, Jackson attended an engineering magnet school and earned a degree in materials engineering from the University of Florida.
Her approach to skating is fundamentally technical. Jackson explains, "Every detail matters; even the smallest muscle activation can change how I skate around a corner. The engineering aspects resonate with me deeply, as I continuously analyze ways to enhance my performance - thus my connection with Autodesk's vision is profound. The campaign represents both my identity as an athlete and an engineer, and I find inspiration in athletes like Mike and Colby, who continuously seek improvement."
Colby Stevenson: Resilience Against All Odds
Freestyle skier
Colby Stevenson offers a powerful message of resilience, having survived a catastrophic car accident that shattered his skull. With the help of groundbreaking design technology, Stevenson’s recovery was miraculous, allowing him to return to skiing months later and ultimately earn an Olympic silver medal.
Reflecting on his experience, Colby states, "Technology quite literally put me back together. Each moment on the mountain is a reminder of the fusion of human determination with design innovation. Working with Erin and Mike emphasizes the value of enjoying the process of striving for greatness, rather than solely focusing on winning. We’re forging our unique paths and creating our version of excellence."
