Voices from e-RIKA Members
Student Experience
I (4th-grade student): “I joined e-RIKA because I love science, and I had already done almost all the science kits sold in stores. I wanted to conduct more advanced experiments. All the experiments are so fascinating! For instance, I’ll never forget seeing ammonia gas, creating fireworks with my own chemical mixtures, and the bismuth oxidation-reduction experiment.”
Parent Perspective
I’s mother: “Since starting e-RIKA in April 2024, my child has been able to engage in numerous fun and serious experiments. Unlike some other facilities, where preparation can overshadow the experimental process, e-RIKA’s teachers care deeply about safety and allow the kids to participate fully. The perspectives gained through this scientific exploration are invaluable treasures.”
Instructor Insights
Instructor Kawakami: “Traditionally, learning should be joyful, but many children rarely smile during studies. At e-RIKA, we strive to make science relatable and enjoyable, ensuring that experiences lead to wisdom.”
Instructor Sasaki: “If I were a child, I’d find experimenting with the fascinating discussions and techniques at e-RIKA incredibly memorable. With a maximum of 16 students per class and two instructors, we cater to all personality types, ensuring inclusive participation.”
