Karen Gravois Elliott comes to Drax with nearly three decades of expertise in the fields of strategic communications, public affairs, and journalism. Elliott's recent roles include serving as the Vice President and Head of Communications at the U.S.–China Business Council, where she led global communications strategy concerning crucial geopolitical, trade, and regulatory challenges. Furthermore, she has held senior roles at notable Washington D.C. trade associations, including the Entertainment Software Association, where she directed public affairs initiatives. Her first foray into communications began as a journalist with the Associated Press and PBS NewsHour. Additionally, she brings legislative experience from serving as a congressional staff member in the U.S. Senate.

In her new position, Elliott will take charge of Drax's communications strategy across North America. This includes overseeing both internal and external communications, executive positioning, reputation management, and issues crisis communications.
