University of Phoenix and LinkedIn Collaborate for Healthcare AI Webinar

University of Phoenix and LinkedIn Present a Free Healthcare AI Webinar

In the evolving landscape of healthcare, artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming a pivotal tool. Recognizing the need for healthcare professionals, particularly nurses, to adapt, the University of Phoenix and LinkedIn have announced a free webinar titled "AI in Action: Skills and Strategies for a New Era of Nursing." Scheduled for January 22, 2026, this 60-minute session will shed light on practical AI applications in nursing and healthcare.

The rise of AI in healthcare comes with its set of challenges, notably the gap in technological familiarity among nursing professionals. A recent survey conducted by McKinsey and the American Nurses Foundation, involving 7,200 nurses across the nation, revealed that 36% of participants listed a lack of understanding regarding AI-based technologies as a major concern. This statistic underscores the critical importance of building AI literacy among nurses moving forward.

Dr. Raelene Brooks, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Phoenix, emphasized the urgency of integrating AI into everyday nursing practices. She stated, "Artificial intelligence is moving quickly from concept to day-to-day reality in healthcare. This webinar is focused on practical skills, real examples, and the considerations nurses should keep in mind as AI tools influence both clinical and administrative workflows."
