Visa Offers Exclusive Early Ticket Access for FIFA World Cup 26™
In a significant initiative, Visa has announced an exclusive early ticket application process for FIFA World Cup 26™, set to take place in 2026. Visa, a global leader in digital payments and an official payment technology partner of FIFA, will offer this unique opportunity to all cardholders holding Visa debit, credit, or reloadable prepaid cards.
The announcement was made in Washington, D.C., during the inaugural Visa Payments Vault event. This occasion brought together officials from Canada, Mexico, and the U.S., celebrating the collaboration between the three nations and the unifying power of sports. Kim Lawrence, Regional President for North America at Visa, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, "Our early access ticket lottery allows Visa cardholders to apply ahead of the general sale, giving them a chance to secure tickets to this historic event. We aim to support local communities and businesses across the Americas in maximizing their economic opportunities as the tournament approaches."
Prominent soccer player Ritsu Doan, who is set to lead his team wearing the number 10 jersey at the international competition, commented on the partnership between Visa and FIFA. He expressed his delight, saying, "I am thrilled that Visa cardholders can apply for tickets ahead of the public sale due to the strong partnership between Visa and FIFA. We are committed to delivering memorable moments and the best soccer experience to Japanese fans alongside Visa. I look forward to seeing everyone at the stadium!"
From September 10 to 19, Visa cardholders will have the chance to apply for early ticket sales. The selected winners will purchase tickets before they are available to the general public. A FIFA ID is required to enter the early ticket lottery, and those without one are encouraged to create an ID by visiting FIFA.com/tickets promptly. Winners will be notified via email after September 30 and will receive a designated purchase window in October. Visa will be the exclusive payment method for tickets purchased through the early lottery. For further details on the early ticket sale, please visit the Visa website.

We are delighted to partner with Visa again to offer fans an early opportunity to secure tickets to what is undoubtedly one of the grandest shows on earth. The tickets are more than just entry passes; they open the door to some of the most thrilling and inclusive matches in the tournament's history. Everyone will want to be part of this moment.
