A New Era of Soccer Training: Bridging Agility and Mindset
Kaori Oshima, a former professional soccer player, is making waves in the world of soccer training with her innovative approach to rebranding. As the CEO of PROUDERS LLC, she has officially launched a fully customized rebranding training program that combines Japanese agility with an international mindset. Targeting youth teams, the program aims to elevate team branding and invigorate local communities through soccer narratives.
On April 15, 2025, the Speranza Osaka Academy will be the first to implement this training, specifically designed for students aged 13 to 18. Oshima has proactively engaged with the team to identify specific needs, ensuring the training aligns with their goals.
The Core Elements of Rebranding Training
The rebranding training is built around four essential elements:
1.
Proud Mind: Emphasizing self-respect and joy in soccer, this element cultivates personal growth and learning through mutual respect among teammates.
2.
Agility: Focuses on direction changes, response speed, step work, balance, and control to enhance performance both offensively and defensively.
3.
Routine: Aims to instill a habitual understanding of recognition, judgment, and execution within soccer contexts, helping players make timely decisions during play.
4.
Artist: Encourages players to establish their unique play styles and express themselves on the pitch, maximizing their potential.
Tailored Menus to Meet Team Needs
In advance of the training implementation, Oshima consulted with the Speranza Osaka Academy to address player requests, notably from those lacking confidence in their physical capabilities. This led to the creation of a structured menu centered on agility, featuring a focused 90-minute session designed to help players understand the optimal use of their knees for achieving top speed.
During a dedicated agility session, players engage in rapid direction changes and speed drills while internalizing a mindset of pride and respect for their teammates. This approach aims to boost motivation and foster a self-driven training culture.
Comprehensive Curriculum for All Ages
The rebranding training is versatile, offering age-appropriate programs from elementary school to university level (ages 6 and up). This inclusivity allows for a broader community impact and enables teams to benefit from the training.
Consulting Services to Shape Team Narratives
Accompanying the training are consulting services for players, parents, and coaches, aimed at realizing the narrative each team wishes to tell. By understanding their stories beyond just soccer, teams can enhance their brand value and engage in local revitalization efforts through various support avenues, including study abroad programs and promotional video production.
Expansion Beyond Soccer
PROUDERS is committed to producing stories that instill pride, and Oshima invites not just soccer teams, but also schools and organizations in other sports to adopt this rebranding training. Her vision is to empower everyone to take pride in both their past and present selves.
Free Trials and Special Pricing
From now until the end of July 2025, PROUDERS is offering a 50% discount on the rebranding training for initial participants. Free trial sessions will be held in Osaka, Aichi, and Tokyo, encouraging teams to seize this unique opportunity.
