Federal Alliance for Safe Homes Strengthens Community Resilience with New Leadership and Corporate Allies

Expanding Horizons for Safer Homes

The Federal Alliance for Safe Homes (FLASH), a renowned nonprofit organization devoted to enhancing the resilience of homes across the United States, has recently made significant progress by welcoming two new Leadership Partners and two corporate members. These strategic additions aim to fortify FLASH's mission to protect families and communities against various disasters.

A New Chapter in Leadership

On October 7, 2026, FLASH proudly announced the induction of Louisiana Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple and Florida Insurance Commissioner Michael Yaworsky as new Leadership Partners. With their deep knowledge of the insurance sector and disaster resilience, these leaders are poised to drive change and collaboration that can significantly improve safety standards and community preparedness across the country.

Insights from Tim Temple

Commissioner Temple, who was elected in 2023, has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry. He has a profound understanding of the importance of disaster mitigation, emphasizing proactive measures to protect communities and enhance market competitiveness. He stated, "Investing in mitigation and strengthening homes before disaster strikes makes a meaningful difference for families, communities, and the insurance market." By joining FLASH, Temple aims to leverage his expertise to promote fortified construction practices that decrease risk and enhance the resilience of homes.[^1]

CitroTech's Mission

CitroTech specializes in fire-prevention technologies targeting wildfire susceptibility. With the increasing threat of wildfires across the nation, their innovative solutions promise to minimize ignition risks significantly. Wes Bolsen, CEO of CitroTech, highlighted the urgency of preventive measures, saying, "We are proud to join the FLASH Partnership to help families and communities become stronger and safer."
