Shenzhen Futian Fashion Day: A Celebration of Innovation and Elegance
On September 29, 2025, the Shenzhen Futian Fashion Day made its much-anticipated return to Paris, as part of the prestigious 'Welcome to Paris' initiative by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. This remarkable event was organized by the Bay Area Sustainable Fashion Alliance (BASFA) in collaboration with the Futian District Government of Shenzhen. The primary aim of the event was to foster cultural exchange while showcasing the creativity and innovation of Chinese fashion on an international platform.
Three distinguished women’s fashion brands took center stage during the event: NEXY.CO, YINER, and LAURÈL from the Ellassay Group. Each collection offered a unique perspective on modern femininity, intertwining diverse influences and aesthetics.
NEXY.CO: The Time of MULAN
NEXY.CO, known for its exquisite European style intertwined with Oriental heritage, presented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection titled "The Time of MULAN." This collection serves as a tribute to contemporary women, epitomizing resilience and grace akin to the magnolia flower. The artistic direction aimed to empower women, reflecting their strength and elegance through fashion.
YINER: The Order of Nature
YINER, the flagship brand of the YINGER Fashion Group, showcased its collection "The Order of Nature," which draws inspiration from the harmony found in nature. The collection utilizes fruits as a metaphor for growth, creatively encapsulated by a visual theme based on the golden spiral. By merging Eastern and Western influences, YINER's designs radiate subtle elegance and sophistication, aiming to inspire a deeper connection with nature's beauty.
LAURÈL: The Eternity of Order
LAURÈL, originally established in Munich and now part of the Ellassay Group, drew inspiration from Bauhaus aesthetics and German craftsmanship with its latest collection "The Eternity of Order." The designs emphasize geometric structures and timeless femininity, incorporating bold cuts and natural materials. This collection celebrated traditional craft while exploring modern silhouettes, aiming to redefine elegance in contemporary women’s fashion.
Futian: China's Emerging Fashion Hub
Located at the heart of Shenzhen, the Futian District is rapidly evolving into a strategic pillar of the Chinese fashion industry, alongside its renowned financial and technology sectors. By 2024, the contribution of the fashion industry to the regional GDP is projected to reach 15%, with over 1,700 leading enterprises generating more than 524 billion Yuan annually. With the establishment of the Bay Area Fashion Center housing over 30 top brands, Futian is solidifying its role as an innovations-driven fashion center of international significance.
Innovation and Partnerships
During this event, BASFA entered a memorandum of understanding with Luxurynsight, a French SaaS platform designed to support the global expansion of luxury brands. This partnership will provide Futian-based brands and designers access to advanced analytical tools, enhancing their market capabilities.
The integration of new technologies was also showcased, with a unique AI-generated soundtrack accompanying the runway shows, bridging the gap between traditional artistry and digital innovation. Futian is also progressing in intelligent wearables, digital avatars, and AI-driven fashion, further establishing its status as a forward-thinking fashion hub.
