By the end of April 2026, there will be a total of 38 Tesla stores, along with pop-up locations, enabling customers to enjoy test-drive experiences at 40 different sites across Japan.

To spread the word about the appeal of Tesla, the company has launched a special campaign for customers who order new Tesla vehicles (either in-stock or custom orders) between April 1 and June 30, with delivery completed by June 30. Eligible customers will benefit from three years of free charging at Tesla Superchargers. This unprecedented offer is expected to generate significant savings compared to fuel costs of gasoline vehicles, making Tesla's unique approach appealing to potential drivers.
In addition, customers purchasing a Tesla vehicle will be eligible to receive government subsidies of 1,270,000 yen, and for those residing in Tokyo, there is an additional subsidy of up to 400,000 yen.
