Niutech Technology Group Completes Comprehensive Restructuring to Enhance Chemical Recycling Operations

Niutech Technology Group Completes Restructuring

Niutech Technology Group Co., Ltd. has completed a significant restructuring of its operations, finalizing the changes on August 26, 2026. This strategic move comes as the company seeks to bolster its efforts in the recycling sector, focusing heavily on transforming waste tires and plastics into valuable resources. The restructuring not only expands Niutech's operational scope but also enhances its research and development activities in several innovative domains, such as recycling technologies, machinery engineering, specialized equipment manufacturing, and new materials development.

For nearly 40 years, Niutech has been a pioneer in continuous industrial pyrolysis, successfully converting over 30 different material streams, including used tires and plastics, into stable recycled resources like pyrolysis oil and non-condensable fuel gas. The company has supported clients in executing large-scale projects, reaching capacities of 10,000 tons across various countries including Germany, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Denmark, and Brazil, consistently meeting stringent environmental and technical standards prevalent in developed markets.

The increasing global emphasis on recycling regulations, such as the EU's PPWR, ESPR, and End-of-Life Vehicles regulations, has intensified the need for recycled materials. Niutech has responded to this demand with its next-generation intelligent continuous pyrolysis production line, designed for large-scale industries, capable of processing over 100 tons per day per unit. This new line boasts significant improvements in capacity, efficiency, cost control, and product quality.

An essential breakthrough with used tires is the high-quality carbon black recovery. With over 80% toluene transmission from recovered carbon black, Niutech has produced commercially viable carbon black, which can be reincorporated as a raw material in tire manufacturing. In handling waste plastics—including low-value municipal plastics, ocean debris, and used textiles—the production line does not require complex pre-treatment processes such as washing, sorting, drying, or fine shredding. Instead, materials can be cracked down directly and efficiently in one step, yielding stable pyrolysis oil, solid fuel, and non-condensable gas. The resulting pyrolysis oil can further serve as a feedstock for producing new plastics.

In China, a majority-owned subsidiary of Niutech, Hesheng Environmental Protection, which began operations in 2013, has been the first in the industry to obtain ISCC certification and has been operating steadily for over a decade. By 2026, with its Phase II project expected to reach a capacity of 100,000 tons, annual production is projected to rise to 160,000 tons. Recently, a client in the UK placed an order worth 198 million RMB after comparing Niutech’s projects with its international competitors, showcasing the escalating demand for their offerings.

Niutech is now accelerating efforts to expand the production chain for clean tire pyrolysis oil and developing blending pathways leading to sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). As emphasized by the director of marketing at Niutech, the effectiveness of a technology is best validated through robust industrial projects. This restructuring marks a pivotal moment for Niutech, propelling the company towards new heights in the realm of chemical recycling and sustainability initiatives.
