Longchamp Beach Club: A New Summer Destination in Italy
In a move to blend luxury with leisure, Longchamp has announced the opening of its inaugural "LONGCHAMP BEACH CLUB" in Forte dei Marmi, Italy. Founded by Jean Cassegrain in Paris in 1948, Longchamp continues to embody modernity, creativity, and dynamism in its brand philosophy. This exciting venture marks a significant milestone as it welcomes guests until September 30, 2025.
Forte dei Marmi, situated along Italy's picturesque Riviera, serves as a perfect backdrop for the Beach Club. Known for its tranquil atmosphere, this resort is a favorite among artists and celebrities seeking luxurious relaxation amid nature's beauty. The Beach Club will be adorned in Longchamp's distinct "green," celebrating the essence of Dolce Vita, or the sweet life that permeates this beautiful region.
The "LONGCHAMP BEACH CLUB" is set up at the private beach Bagno Felice 1, where every detail—from cabins and sunbeds to parasols—exhibits Longchamp’s signature green aesthetic. Guests can indulge in live music performances, play backgammon, and enjoy specially crafted cocktails at the bar, offering a taste of summer festivities.
Additionally, guests can visit a limited-time boutique nearby, which features exclusive versions of Longchamp's well-known "Le Pliage® Dou Monde" collection, showcasing the same soft green striped design found at the Beach Club.

About Longchamp
Founded in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain in Paris, Longchamp combines authenticity with energy, evolving from its roots as a luxury leather pipe brand. For over 70 years, the brand has reflected the style of the modern Parisian woman while maintaining traditional craftsmanship.
It is known for iconic collections such as "Le Pliage®" introduced in 1993, inspired by Japanese origami, and "Le Roseau," featuring distinctive bamboo toggles. Longchamp leads the way in sustainability initiatives, transitioning all "Le Pliage®" products to recycled nylon by the end of 2022.
Under the creative direction of Sophie Delafontaine, Longchamp continues to reinterpret French elegance through its seasonal collections that include prêt-à-porter, bags, accessories, shoes, eyewear, and travel products.
With over 300 boutiques across 80 countries, Longchamp remains a family-owned business, now in its fourth generation, led by the Cassegrain family. In Japan, the flagship store "Longchamp La Maison Ginza" was launched in July 2019, further solidifying the brand's presence in the luxury market.
