Daito Trust Construction Announces Second Phase of High-Skilled Workers Recruitment in Uzbekistan

Daito Trust Construction Expands Recruitment in Uzbekistan

Daito Trust Construction Co., Ltd., based in Minato, Tokyo, led by CEO Hiroshi Takeuchi, is launching the second phase of its high-skilled talent recruitment initiative in Uzbekistan starting September 17. This effort aims at securing talented foreign workers to address challenges such as a decline in science students domestically, labor shortages in the construction industry, and advancements in work style reforms.

This recruitment program originally commenced in 2024, and in its first phase, five students from the Tashkent State Technical University were successfully hired. These first recruits arrived in Japan last December and are currently engaged in construction management roles at sites in the metropolitan area.

Building on the success in Uzbekistan, Daito Trust Construction is also set to open a dedicated program for high-skilled worker recruitment at the Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang in Indonesia, with hiring planned for 2027 upon completion of the program. This signifies the company's first initiative in overseas high-skilled talent acquisition.

The upcoming recruitment will specifically target students from the Tashkent State Technical University. The company’s executives will conduct interviews directly onsite, with plans to hire five qualified candidates. Selected students are expected to arrive in Japan by March next year. Starting in April, they will undergo training alongside new Japanese graduate employees before being assigned to construction management tasks in the Kanto region.

Uzbek nationals are noted for their diligence, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to learn construction skills, making them ideal candidates poised to become immediate assets.

Daito Trust Construction aims to build robust support systems to facilitate the training of these individuals towards acquiring licensing as construction managers. The company expects that in the shortest time frame of four years, employees will be able to obtain the first-level architectural construction management qualification from Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, which entitles them to manage on-site processes, quality, and safety.

Through proactive recruitment of talented foreign personnel, Daito Trust Construction is committed to maintaining high quality in the supply of rental properties by ensuring rigorous quality management and strengthening its direct construction capabilities.

Support and Integration for Foreign Workers

To ensure that its recruited foreign workers can adjust smoothly to life and work in Japan, Daito Trust Construction begins its support even before their arrival. This includes Japanese language education, providing information related to job understanding and living preparations, as well as assistance with visas and immigration to facilitate a seamless transition to Japan.

Once they arrive, the workers are offered living conditions equivalent to those of their Japanese peers. They will receive training identical to that of Japanese employees, and through various qualification support systems, the company aims to aid them in their long-term career development.
