H&MV Engineering Gains €1.4 Billion Investment for U.S. Expansion



H&MV Engineering, a major player in high-voltage engineering and critical power infrastructure services, recently announced a significant transaction that has valued the company at €1.4 billion. This funding round, featuring existing investor Exponent along with new partners Apollo S3, Pantheon, and SQ Capital, is poised to propel H&MV's growth strategy in the United States and beyond.

In light of this new investment, H&MV Engineering's projected revenues for FY26 are expected to exceed €1 billion, fueled by a robust €2 billion order book and an impressive €16 billion pipeline. The company is now preparing for substantial growth with an ambitious target of reaching €3 billion in annual revenue within the next five years while also planning to expand its workforce to 3,000 employees.

The transaction serves as a long-term capital boost, essential for supporting H&MV's aggressive expansion in the U.S. market, which has seen a surge in demand for critical power infrastructure driven by advancements in AI, electrification, and energy transition technologies. H&MV specializes in designing and constructing high-voltage infrastructure that supports data centers, battery energy storage, and essential electricity networks.

As part of its U.S. growth strategy, H&MV Engineering is set to launch its North American headquarters in Dallas later this year. The company has been investing significantly in leadership, engineering talent, project delivery, and corporate development to enhance its operational capacity across North America since its U.S. entry in late 2025.

CEO P.J. Flanagan emphasized that the backing from Exponent and the new investors will enable H&MV to scale effectively in line with market demands. He expressed pride in the organization’s achievements and reassured stakeholders of their commitment to continue investing in talent, engineering capabilities, and the company culture that has been pivotal to their past success.

The transaction is currently pending regulatory approval, which is expected to be finalized in September 2026, paving the way for a new chapter in H&MV Engineering's growth story.
