Celebrating Community Heroes: Mercury Insurance and iHeartRadio Collaboration

The vibrant community spirit of San Diego has been beautifully recognized through a groundbreaking initiative by Mercury Insurance in partnership with iHeartRadio. This innovative program, dubbed 'Community Rockstars,' aims to honor the everyday heroes whose selfless contributions significantly enhance the quality of life in San Diego.

As part of the initiative, Mercury Insurance unveiled a stunning mural at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre (NICUA), created by the acclaimed artist Nigel Sussman. VP and Chief Marketing Officer of Mercury Insurance, Erik Thompson, emphasized the importance of recognizing local legends: "These heroes don't do it for the recognition, which is why we want to say thank you for helping to make San Diego such an amazing place to live." Fans and community members are encouraged to nominate their local heroes through the iHeartRadio website. Selected nominees gain recognition by receiving:

  • - VIP parking access.
  • - A $200 Visa gift card to enhance their concert experience.
