Live Board Joins Hands with Masaharu Fukuyama
In an impressive show of solidarity, LIVE BOARD has announced its support for singer-songwriter Masaharu Fukuyama's powerful new single titled "Kusunoki -500 Years in the Wind-". This song is centered around the "Kusunoki Project" which aims to raise awareness and preserve the A-bombed trees of Nagasaki. The launch aligns with the 80th anniversary of World War II's conclusion in Japan, making it a significant moment for reflection and action.
The Song and Its Purpose
Starting on June 30, 2025, audiences can expect to see a special 60-second animation related to Fukuyama’s song broadcasted across LIVE BOARD's nationwide digital out-of-home (OOH) platforms. This piece encapsulates a vision of a world where all life can coexist harmoniously. With universal themes of the sanctity and resilience of life interwoven in its lyrics, "Kusunoki -500 Years in the Wind-" reflects a poignant hope for future generations.
The artwork accompanying the animation was inspired by the music and created by the renowned artist junaida, which showcases the creative efforts resonating with the song's emotional core. LIVE BOARD is committed to using the public nature of OOH advertising in ways that promote social awareness and support for upcoming artists.
Sharing the Message of Life
The song's composition is a reimagining of a 2014 piece inspired by the A-bombed Kusunoki tree, located just 800 meters from the epicenter of the Nagasaki bombing. Through the perspective of this enduring tree, Fukuyama conveys a strong message about the equal right to live for all beings. As the 80th anniversary of the war approaches, this reworked version, officially releasing on June 30, will carry the considerable weight of history intertwined with calls for compassion and understanding.
A portion of the profits from the song will be donated to the Kusunoki Fund through the Kusunoki Project, helping ensure the protection and preservation of this vital historical tree.

The digital OOH animation will have its premiere in a variety of locations, running from June 30, 2025, until August 31, 2025.
