FreeiD Hotel: Redefining Hospitality with Facial Recognition

In an innovative collaboration between DXYZ Corporation and USEN-ALMEX, a new service known as the FreeiD Hotel is set to revolutionize the hotel experience for guests beginning in May 2025. This service is part of Migalo Holdings, which is committed to merging the digital and physical realms to create new value for customers.

Overview of FreeiD Hotel

FreeiD Hotel incorporates a facial recognition ID platform called FreeiD, facilitating a smooth check-in process through the KIOSK self-check-in system provided by USEN-ALMEX. Once registered, hotel guests can enjoy their stays without the hassle of room keys. From the common areas to individual hotel rooms, facial recognition allows for seamless entry and exit.

Guests will need to register their identities with FreeiD before their arrival. During the reservation process, they must input their name and phone number to link their identity with the hotel where they plan to stay. This means from the moment they check in until they check out, guests can access all areas of the hotel without physical room keys, eliminating the potential stress of losing a key card.

Launching Off at Setono-Oka

The inaugural location for FreeiD Hotel services will be within the Setono-Oka complex, which also features a shared housing facility for employees. This innovative space, which combines a hotel with staff accommodation, is managed by the Tsuneishi Group, and officially opens its doors on May 23, 2025. The intention behind this facility is to improve employee welfare while also contributing positively to the local community.
