Geely Farizon Unveils Comprehensive Electric Commercial Vehicle Range at IAA Transportation 2026
Geely Farizon Unveils Electric Vehicle Lineup
At the IAA Transportation 2026 event held in Hanover, Germany, Geely Farizon made a significant entrance into the electric commercial vehicle market by unveiling a complete portfolio of electric vehicles, including models like the Farizon SV, Farizon V7E, and the flagship Homtruck, designed entirely for zero-emission transport.
Geely Farizon's initiative comes in response to increasing demands from European fleets to decarbonize without compromising vehicle performance or escalating total cost of ownership (TCO). The brand is stepping into the European market not merely as an exporter but as a long-term local partner, drawing upon the manufacturing scale and technical expertise of the Geely Holding Group.
The electric architecture developed by Geely Farizon is tailored specifically to meet stringent European standards and leverages decades of experience in the automotive sector. This solid foundation ensures optimal efficiency, durability, and enhanced safety redundancies in commercial vehicles, which are pivotal for minimizing operational risks and costs, particularly in challenging conditions.
The showcased models precisely target European commercial applications. The Farizon SV, a light commercial vehicle, earned a prestigious five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP and was a runner-up in the 2026 International Van of the Year (IVOTY) competition, additionally receiving the What Van? 2026 Zero Emission Van Award. Among the highlights at the event was the newly anticipated Farizon SV MY27 model, which promises improved performance from its battery and powertrain, featuring all-wheel drive capabilities.
The compact Farizon V7E was introduced as a solution for urban logistics and last-mile delivery, boasting low operational costs, outstanding cargo space for its class, and an exceptionally low loading height, securing its place among the top three finalists for the IVOTY 2027 competition. Completing the lineup is the Homtruck, offering a heavy-duty solution with zero emissions, specially designed for high-demand transport corridors over long distances.
To support its fleet operations, Geely Farizon is actively broadening its physical presence across Europe. Following the establishment of its European headquarters and subsidiaries in Germany and France, where the SV and V7E models were launched in April 2026, the brand's distribution network has now expanded to cover 28 European countries. The reliable operability of its vehicles is further ensured by a dual network for spare parts, with an operational central warehouse in Gaggenau, Germany, ensuring the delivery of components across Europe within one to six working days. This is complemented by a global spare parts distribution center located in Ningbo, China, which utilizes the robust integrated supply chain of the 'One Geely' ecosystem.
