Fender and Bandai Namco Unveil the Exclusive Fender x PAC-MAN Collection

Fender and Bandai Namco Introduce the Fender x PAC-MAN Collection

In an exciting collaboration, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC), based in California, USA, has unveiled the "Fender x PAC-MAN Collection" in partnership with Bandai Namco Entertainment. This unique collection is set to celebrate two cultural icons that have resonated through generations.

Limited Edition Guitar

From May 15 to June 15, 2026, enthusiasts will have the opportunity to purchase the Limited Edition PAC-MAN Player II Telecaster®. This stunning guitar is designed with the classic PAC-MAN maze graphics, vividly depicting PAC-MAN chased by ghosts Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. Furthermore, the reverse side features a bold logo, reminiscent of the classic arcade days of the game. Fender's commitment to craftsmanship shines through with its comfortable Modern "C" shaped neck, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a timeless 9.5-inch radius rosewood fingerboard, making it suitable for players of all skill levels.

According to Justin Norvell, Fender's Chief Product Officer, this collaboration is not merely a partnership but a confluence of two forces that have shaped culture across ages. The collection embodies the spirit of both brands, merging uncompromising craftsmanship with the iconic design of a legendary character that has touched the hearts of fans for decades.

Premium Apparel Collection

In addition to the exclusive guitar, the F IS FOR FENDER × PAC-MAN apparel collection will launch in Japan starting July 2026. This premium line will feature items such as:
  • - The Picks Tee: A T-shirt that reinterprets PAC-MAN's dots as guitar picks. It comes in navy and black and is made of high-quality cotton, showcasing an iconic scene of PAC-MAN toying with dots.
  • - The Ghost Tee: Celebrating the ghosts of PAC-MAN, this simple yet effective design combines Fender's emblematic "F" with Inky, designed by visionary artist Yoshiyuki Shimazu.
  • - The Inky Cap and Blinky Cap: Each of these caps offers playful nods to the classic characters with quality embroidery and unique styles, making them a must-have for fans and collectors alike.

The apparel collection will be available at Fender Flagship Tokyo and through the official "F IS FOR FENDER" online shop. Customers can expect further details on product images and sales shortly on the official website.

Fender Flagship Tokyo Experience

To coincide with the launch of the Limited Edition PAC-MAN Player II Telecaster®, the Fender Flagship Tokyo store will feature an immersive display area beginning May 15, 2026. This area will showcase the vibrant world of PAC-MAN, complete with themed decorations and visuals that embody the essence of this collaboration. A large LED screen outside the store will frequently display special videos featuring PAC-MAN, enriching the experience for visitors.

A Legacy Continues

Fender has been a groundbreaking force in the music industry since 1946, and with this new collection, they continue to build on that legacy by connecting with fans of all ages. The collaboration with Bandai Namco, a company recognized for creating one of the most iconic video games of all time, is a significant milestone that celebrates creativity and nostalgia.
