Major Update for Lineage2M: The Red Battleground of Godard

NCSOFT Corporation from South Korea, known for its innovative game designs, has recently announced significant updates to its next-generation open-world RPG, Lineage2M. On October 29, 2025, a massive update titled The Red Battleground of Godard was implemented, which includes the merging of Origin and Reserve worlds, alongside various enhancements and new challenges for players.

New Features in the Origin World

The update introduced several new regions within the Godard territory, including East and West of the Blood Battleground, Balka Collective Farm, and Barka Silenos Village. Although new boss monsters are not present, players can expect the Carnifex, a server invasion boss, to appear in the West Blood Battleground. Additionally, players can find new hero-grade armor like the Battlefield Gaiters and rare items like the Chieftain’s Boots which drop from monsters in these areas.

A noteworthy feature is the introduction of Triumph Skills for three weapon types: daggers, bows, and orbs. For instance, the dagger's Requiem skill allows players to summon a reaper that marks enemies, killing them instantly once their HP drops below a certain threshold. The bow’s Twilight Hunter skill imposes an aging effect on enemies, reducing their maximum HP and preventing them from healing. The orb skill, Sanctuary, creates a sacred zone that significantly boosts HP recovery for allies while inflicting ongoing HP loss on invading enemies.

Moreover, adjustments were made to the Demon's Island arena dungeon, increasing the difficulty of monsters and altering the rewards system. The server invasion war has also become a permanent feature, scheduled for Wednesdays at 7 PM, where players can face the Carnifex.

Enhancements in the Reserve World

In the Reserve World, the update added the Zepal’s Hall, a major chasm dungeon that matches players weekly on Sundays and Wednesdays for exciting boss battles against Zepal. Players can gain legendary items such as the Sakei Redium and Fallen Angel Helm from these encounters. Furthermore, players can look forward to the addition of seven new mounts across various rarity levels, including the legendary mount Kars, which enhances vital combat stats.

The system of soul absorption has also been enriched with a feature called Amplification, boosting damage effects based on different criteria. A new dungeon, Twilight’s Hideout for four players, has been introduced, allowing for unique gameplay experiences each week.

The Legend Challenge: Raul’s Double Feature

Alongside the world merges and content updates, both the Origin and Reserve worlds feature the newly launched Raul's Legend Challenge. This limited-time event involves trading for Sealed Legend Cubes in NPC locations across villages and participating in dungeon challenges to earn rewards. In the Origin World, successful challenges could result in receiving Legendary Class Acquisition Tickets or Legendary Agathion Acquisition Tickets.

In the Reserve World, players engage in the Hero Challenge, where they can gain guaranteed Heroic Agathion Acquisition Tickets as event rewards. This exciting feature presents a new opportunity for players to enhance their gaming experience significantly.
